Current U.S. High School Boys Athletics Records As of July 2009 – Part 1

Here are the current US high school boys’ athletic records as of July 2009. This list gives every high school runner, jumper, and pitcher an insight into what it takes to become a world-class athlete in the level of preparation.

Some of these record holders have just completed their senior season and are probably heading to a college competition somewhere. Among them are hurdler Reggie Wyatt, long jumper Marquis Goodwin, discus thrower Mason Finley, hammer thrower Conor McCullough, decathlon athlete Curtis Beach, and relay sprinters Andrew Hendrix and his brother Anthony Hendrix.

The list of names from the past and their performances is staggering, and they have become household names in the athletics community around the world. Among them are Alan Webb, Galen Rupp and, most recently, German Fernandez.
