dining room interior design

The concept of a dining room is based on comfort and privacy. The atmosphere should be relaxing for a family chat and not overwhelming for a face-to-face. Dining style draws heavily on individual lifestyles and will do well to adhere to and enhance the same. However, elements such as the type of home and the space provided influence the creation of unique styles.

multifunctional

This style is a great help when space is limited. A dining room that shares its space with perhaps a study or library is not a far-fetched concept. Spaces can be combined with colors or textures and stand out for their unique functions. A six or four seater dining table can be separated from the study/library by placing it on one side of the room or angling it to create a cozy alcove for the other function. Often a booth or sideboard comes with the dining set. The complete set can be coordinated and placed to the side before thinking about the other requirements. A mini studio would need a desk, chair, and bookcase. Usually the writing table is placed near the window, if there is one. A library may require one or two sofas instead of the desk and chair. Joining the areas may require something as simple as a large rug. Alternatively, area rugs can divide the two areas.

ground floor

This concept works with a warm and earthy atmosphere. Depending on the available space, the shape of the dining table should be rectangular, square or round. You can opt for shiny floor cushions, natural fiber mats or even triangular Thai cushions. Custom chairs with just the seat and back are best with a relatively formal style.
