Donald Trump – What about him?

Currently, he is the President and CEO of the Trump Organization, a United States-based real estate developer. He is also the founder of Trump Entertainment Resorts, which has a large number of casinos and hotels around the world. He became a celebrity for years due to his flamboyant lifestyle and outspoken manner, and of course his hit NBC television show The Apprentice, on which he worked as a host and at the same time as an executive producer.

He is the fourth child of five children of Fred Trump, a wealthy real estate developer based in New York City. It was Donald’s father who had a great influence on his goals to achieve and make a name for himself in real estate development. After earning a degree from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in 1968, he joined his father’s company, the Trump Organization.

His first step into his real estate world began when he spearheaded the renovation of the Commodore Hotel at the Grand Hyatt with the Pritzker family and then was the Trump Tower in New York City and other residential projects. In other businesses, it expanded its airline industry by purchasing Eastern Shuttle routes. He also runs his casino business in Atlantic City, which includes the purchase of the Taj Mahal Casino from the Crosby family, which ultimately led to bankruptcy. The expansion resulted in mounting debt. In the early 1990s, his life was highly publicized due to his financial troubles, the creditor-led bailout, the extramarital affair with Marla Maples, and the resulting divorce from his first wife, Ivana Trump.

In 2001, he completed Trump World Tower, a 72-story residential tower in front of the United Nations headquarters. Construction also began on Trump Place, a multi-building development along the Hudson River. He also owns a retail space at Trump International Hotel and Tower, a 44-story mixed-use (hotel and condo) tower on Columbus Circle. Today, he owns several million square feet of premium Manhattan real estate and continues to be a major figure in the real estate field in the United States and a celebrity for his prominent media exposures.
