Intense Yeast and Sugar Cravings – Completely Changing My Eating Habit

This man has been having intense cravings for yeast and sugar and had been fine until today at work when someone brought in blueberry white muffins and banana bread. His feet literally carried him towards them and he shoved some into his mouth and scuttled away. It feels like I’m having nicotine fits, and the same guilt that comes from sneaking a cigarette, when you’re trying so hard to be good. He agrees with the people who said diet sucks, though he blames the industry for hooking us on all the delicious foods. He laments himself for not having enough knowledge to make an informed decision.

Based on the story above, I would like to tell you not to be so hard on yourself. It is difficult to completely change the way you live after so many years. The fact that we have made a change in the right direction is something to be proud of. We all eat things we’re not supposed to eat, but don’t beat yourself up about it. Not that it’s going to get you back to where you were when you started.

Instead, look at how far you’ve come, what you’ve been able to eliminate, and what you’ve been able to incorporate into your diet that you’ve been missing and therefore improving your health. For me, I think that eating three times a day is a great achievement, and the fact that I eat vegetables at every meal is beyond what I thought I could do. I know that I am feeding my body nutrients that it was not used to receiving, at least not on a regular basis. So think of this as a gift to yourself and don’t focus too much on it.
