The curriculum may vary in different clubs or schools, but most will definitely include the ones mentioned above. Due to these issues, in 2002 the Malaysian government acted on this matter by appointing Grand Master Anuar Abdul Wahab to research and develop a silat curriculum that can be used in depth in all silat clubs known as Seni Silat. Malaysia.

This curriculum was created based on the traditional Silat art of the original Malay Peninsula that was not imported, combined, copied or even mixed with other martial arts or pencak silat movements. Silat movements are based on the movements of human beings according to their geometric measurements. On December 4, 2006, the Government of Malaysia recognized silat as the official art of self-defense in Malaysia and was gazetted in the Akta Warisan Negara (National Heritage Act).

The curriculum also uses basic traditional silat lessons such as the Bunga Sembah (the pillars of silat movements) and the Tapak Empat (the art of controlling the ring) to produce seven silat lessons which are the Bunga (posture of positions of silat), Jurus (art of attack and defense), Belebat (shadow training), Tapak (step pattern), Buah Pukul (self-defense), Tempur Seni (art of combat) and Tempur Bela Diri (self-defense combat) .

The standardization of the silat system is providing the opportunity for all silat clubs, not only in Malaysia, but also internationally, to exercise and implement the curriculum without any doubt of its originality. Many international Silat trainers from France, Austria, Switzerland and the UK are using this system in their training center due to the systematic of the qualification level from beginner to expert level.

Learning this art form is sure to be one of the best experiences of your life.
