2011 Audi Q7 Review

This model weighs 110 pounds more than its predecessor and is available with 21-inch titanium-effect alloy wheels and metallic screens. Audi Q7 may face stiff competition from BMW X5 and Porsche Cayenne. The domestic base price of the 2011 Audi Q7 is around $45,700, which excludes destination charges.

Styles and trim level:

The 2011 Audi Q7 is a full-size crossover sport utility vehicle that seats seven people. This sedan is available with three trim levels including Premium, Premium Plus, and Prestige trim levels.

The 2011 Audi Q7 Premium model is offered with 18-inch alloy wheels, roof rails, rear parking sensors, dual-zone automatic climate control, power lift doors including programmable opening angle, automatic wipers, power front seats eight-way heated with lumbar adjustment and leather upholstery. Some of the additional features offered with this sedan are second row split seats, tilt and telescoping steering column, auto dimming rear view mirrors, Audi multimedia interface, Bluetooth connectivity and 11 speaker audio system, CD changers console mounted sic, satellite radio, single CD player, I-Pod interface and satellite radio. This model can also be equipped with the Warm Weather Package, which includes four-zone automatic climate control, a deep-tint panoramic sunroof, and a manual sunshade for the liftgate and rear doors.

The 2011 Audi Q7 TDI Prestige model is added with 20-inch wheels, keyless entry and ignition, blind-spot warning system, adaptive headlights, power tilt-and-telescoping steering column, warm weather package, and ventilated front seats. Audi Q7 3.0TS line Prestige is added with some additional features including 20-inch wheels, supercharged V6 engine, headlight washers and S line exterior styling and trim. S line accessories are also available with TDI Prestige trim as an optional feature. Some of the optional features available with the Prestige trim include adaptive air suspension, adaptive cruise control, 21-inch wheels, Bang and Olufsen sound system with 14 speakers and S Line package with special interior trim.

The 2011 Audi Q7 3.0T Premium and Premium Plus model is armored with a 3.0L capacity supercharged V6 engine and the Audi Q7 3.0TS line model is armored with a more powerful engine that is capable of generating 333 HP of power and 325 pound-feet of torque. Both powertrains are paired with an all-wheel drive channel and an eight-speed automatic transmission.

Design and features:

Audi Q7 gets full marks for its interior. Dash is perfectly driver-oriented and houses a multimedia interface that is easy to use. The front seat of this sedan offers maximum head and leg room and the rear seat is a bit cramped which can easily accommodate an average person and the third seat is comfortable only for small children. When the second- and third-row seats are folded down, this sedan offers 72.5 cubic feet of cargo space, which is below average compared to its competitors.
