America has always spoiled China

China and the United States are two powers, but the relationship is complex. It is a fact that the United States never opposed China in any significant way. In fact, he has prostrated himself before the dragon most of the time. A recent statement by Philippine President Roberto Duterte is revealing. He said that the United States was not serious against China and deliberately asked why the Americans did not send 5 aircraft carriers to the South China Sea from the beginning and nip the root problem of the occupation of the Spratly Islands. Obviously, there is no answer, because the Americans have given way to the Chinese.

This is not a new phenomenon and since the time of Mao Tse Tung, Americans have had China from head to toe. There has been a strange reluctance to compromise or confront him. In 1964, China went nuclear. He also announced that his nuclear arsenal would be a deterrent to the United States. He viewed the United States as an imperialist power. Donald and company are shouting from the rooftops that North Korea’s nuclear power will be handled with an iron fist. A group of aircraft carriers, the Carl Vinson, is moving toward North Korea and making ominous noises. A bombardment is at stake.

A look back at 1964 will show that the Americans did nothing when China went nuclear in 1964. Aside from some silly statements by Johnson, the then-president of the United States simply squatted. There was no hysteria, like the one built against the Kim Jong regime. Why? In my travels the length and breadth of the US, I have not met an American who has asked why the US never bombed its nuclear facilities. Yes, I wonder why China was not bombed and now there is a fuss about Korea, which is 1/50 the size of the United States. Frankly, there is no logic.

Even Donald Trump has played poodle for President Xi at his Florida resort. He tried to placate the Chinese leader and asked for a sanction to bomb Korea. What a joke. A leader of a superpower asking for permission to bomb North Korea. Readers should remember that Donald will only bomb Korea if he receives the green light from President Xi.

Donald also forgot all his earlier anti-China rants that he would get the Spratly Island occupation reversed and that he was a currency manipulator. How far from a man who changed color overnight. Donald is not the first president of the United States and one may recall that Richard Nixon flew to China to bow to Emperor Mao. It was like old age when China was the center of the world. Trump is defeated and gone, but his successor Joe Biden is also on the Chinese network. His son has a dubious connection to China and the recent Alaska meeting was called by Biden for what purposes we don’t know and his nose bleeds.
