Once upon a time there was a great man (let’s call him Sam), who loved his family very much. He worked hard to support them, but he realized that no matter how hard he worked, he couldn’t give them everything they wanted and needed if something didn’t change. One day he was approached by someone who was definitely right. They showed him how he could generate an income for his family that would change their lives forever. So he sets out to change his future. He worked long and hard to get started, but it paid off once the plan kicked in and slowly the money started flowing. Sam was becoming a great leader, and his wife and his family had also reached out to support him.
One day, Sam received terrible news. His wife was diagnosed with a brain tumor. She was inoperable and is given only a few months to live. Everything is put on hold while the family prepares for the worst. Shortly after they were hit with another blow. Sam’s lung cancer had returned. He had fought it off before, but this time it had spread over most of his body. The doctors had run out of options. But Sam and his wife refused to give up their family, his children. They made it their duty to get to work and build a legacy that their children could take over once they were gone. They both worked harder than ever. When they were at the hospitals, they never missed a training meeting. They videotaped him and saw him at the hospital. People were so inspired by his positive outlook and many joined him in his business. Sam’s team of dedicated supporters grew exponentially as more and more people signed up. A short time later, Sam’s team had reached a tipping point, having grown so large that he was self-sufficient. Many people had become leaders and were experiencing great success. Sam no longer had to work long hours. He had enough residual income from his business that he could finally sit back and enjoy the lifestyle he had worked so hard for.
Approximately 6 months later, Sam and his wife passed away, leaving their children a great legacy and financial freedom. There were more than 1,500 people at his funerals. Many gave speeches about how Sam had helped them change their future by showing them how to succeed. In a very short time, Sam had touched the lives of so many people. His reason was so strong that nothing could stand in his way to succeed and help his family and on his journey he was able to help many other people.
Sam’s story shows us that we cannot make excuses for our future. If he thinks he doesn’t have time to do MLM, think about how little time Sam had. If he thinks he can’t afford the initial fees, decide if he can afford to work until he’s 65. If he won’t do it himself, who else can you help by sharing the opportunity with them? If your reason for him isn’t strong enough to make you act now, think of people like Sam who are crying out for that chance. If it weren’t for that person who shared his business opportunity with Sam, this story would only be tragic and uninspiring. Don’t deny others the success they deserve by keeping the opportunity for yourself because you’re too lazy to act. Go out and change someone’s future. It could be yours.
