How you can increase your traffic using articles and social media

In this article, I am going to write about a traffic generation strategy that you can use, mainly using articles as your traffic source. Then I’ll describe how you can get more exposure for your articles by sharing them on social media.

Get traffic using only articles.

First, let’s look at this premise, that you are using articles just to drive traffic to your website. If this is the case, you will need a plan to write a certain number of articles per day. Let’s say you would like one hundred visitors per day to visit your website.

This is what you can do, write twenty articles and post them on an article submission website. After a week or so, after the articles are published, you will start to see traffic coming to your website. Now, I’m going to simplify this so you can easily understand how you can apply it to your articles. If, after a month, you receive an average of two clicks to your website per day from each article, that would be a total of forty people. The goal is to get a hundred visitors, right? Well, the answer to getting more traffic is of course to write more articles. But is that all you can do to increase your traffic?

This time I’d like you to think of those articles as shareable content!

It’s a very simple idea, but one that sometimes goes right over the head of many article writers. Share your work on social networking sites like Facebook.

You have a few options, but let’s stick with a method of sharing. All you need to do is write a short summary for each of your articles and leave a link to the article at the end of your summary. Then post those roundups on your social networking sites. Those posts will be seen by your followers on your timeline, just like the posts you see on your timeline by the pages you are following.

Sharing your articles on your social networking sites can get you more article views and could help you reach your goal of one hundred clicks on your website each day.

Again, after a month, you can start tracking your results and calculate how many website clicks you’re getting per article. Then it comes to deciding if you want to write more articles and share them too.
