Make your own windmill and say goodbye to your electricity bill forever

Tired of soaring utility bills? Did you know that it was possible to greatly reduce or even eliminate your home electricity bill with a homemade windmill? The materials needed to make a windmill can be found in junkyards for around $ 100 to $ 200 maximum. Keep in mind that you also need to have a good set of plans to make sure everything goes smoothly.

Have you considered wind power to generate free electricity but hesitated because you think it may be too difficult to make your own windmill? You will need to know how to use basic power tools and have a bit of ambition. Keep in mind that larger designs in the 2000 watt range can be more difficult to build. I suggest sticking with a medium-sized windmill (around 100 watts) if you’ve never built one before. You can always build another one if you need additional electricity.

The design of a windmill is very simple. You have the tower, blades, motor, base and batteries. You can even use common materials found in any junkyard. For example, the motor can be a DC motor found in old treadmills, sewing machines, and washing machines. Finding all the pieces may take some searching, but it shouldn’t take too long.

You have the option of ordering a manufactured kit that you can assemble yourself if you don’t feel like building your windmill from scratch. Keep in mind that your costs will be considerably higher. But if saving up to a thousand dollars is important to you, I suggest you skip this and find your own supplies.

Don’t forget to follow the correct plans. I have found that almost all the windmill blueprints I see are too complicated or there are too many confusing steps. Don’t let this put you off … It really is not difficult to make a windmill and save at least 75% or more on your electricity bill. A decent guide will keep things simple while covering each step thoroughly so nothing is left to chance.
