Successful cell phone models and their successors

Most of the people would be very confused when they first come across cell phones. All mobile phone manufacturers have numbers for their models, which are used to identify the device as well as give a technical name. This model number may be different from the name under which it is marketed. For example, the Samsung Corby has the model number B3210. However, there are some model numbers that become consistent with quality and the manufacturer releases an upgraded version of the model. The upgraded version bears an initial resemblance to the previous version and is basically an upgraded version. Here are three such pairs:

Nokia 6600 – 6630: The 6600 heralded the era of functional mobiles for the budget shopper. The phone had great features, looked great, and was a Nokia. It was one of the first phones to offer the user a pretty good joystick experience. After a while, users tried the 6630, which was an improved version of the 6600. The 6630 was just as successful as the 6600.

Nokia 3310 – 3395: This was another series that is considered legendary success. The first phone to hit the market after the bulky 1500 and Motorola Talkabouts, and other models, this one was quickly overtaken by the market due to its sleek, slim body and, at the time, futuristic features. This phone is still sold by some enthusiasts and used by programmers for reasons they know best. After the release of the Nokia 3310, many other Nokia 3 models were released, all of which met with moderate to great success. The last model released in the 3 series was the 3395.

Nokia 1100 – 1101: The Nokia 1100 and 1101 were two models from the Nokia stables that came to the minds of the people. The Nokia 1100 is the world’s best-selling consumer electronics device.

They laugh: The Nokia N Series is another very successful series, which was spawned by the N70. Although the latest model in the series, the N8 looks nothing like the original N70, conceptual similarities with the N series of mobile phones will still be found.

It’s no wonder that all these models belong to one company: Nokia, a mobile phone manufacturer that has long been known for providing consistent quality and features to its customers. Some of these models may be discontinued but are still available on the used cell phone market.
