Will online transactions be safe in Diablo 3?

Do you want to choose life over death? Do you want a smart assassin to show you the way? Or do you want to die lost, tired and discouraged in the dangerous dungeons of Diablo 3? Do not despair. There is always a way. In general, the path is much easier than I imagined. The trick is to figure out who your friend is and who can help you increase your efficiency. Want to see a true friend from Diablo 3?

The most talked about new aspect of Diablo 3 is the dual money auction house system. Players can use both in-game money and real-world money to purchase items in the third edition of the Sanctuary War against the Armies of Hell. Blizzard has chosen not to regulate the monetary system in the game and would not sell any of its own products through the game. The dual money system would apply only to Diablo 3 players.

Without any control from Blizzard, Diablo 3’s economy will be extremely volatile with tremendous fluctuations in currency exchange rates. Blizzard has implemented elaborate security arrangements to ensure that players do not put their credit card details and monetary transactions at risk.

A special tab titled Blizzard Battle.net Balance would allow players to add real world cash to their Diablo 3 gaming account. The Balance tab would work with popular international online money transaction services such as PayPal, credit card acceptance , etc. Players can store their cash in the Auction House via the Balance tab.

However, Diablo 3’s real world cash withdrawal would work only in some regions where local laws allow it. All online transactions to withdraw money from the real world would also incur a small fee. Players can, of course, use real-world cash to purchase in-game items. So even if the gold in the game is low, players can simply use credit cards and PayPal to stock up on their arsenal.

There will also be a limit to the amount of cash players can keep in their Diablo 3 account. Blizzard would only access and withdraw the cash, based on local laws, if an account is not used for more than three years.

Players have openly criticized this system on gaming forums. Some players say that this dual money system will encourage gambling. Others fear hackers will find another platform in the gaming world as fans are duped. In general, most players feel that the dual money system will only increase the stakes and increase the excitement. In any case, the dual money system works in some regions only depending on security regulations and local laws.
