The number one priority when looking for a home based business is finding a mentor. Without a mentor, one will waste countless hours staring at the monitor wondering what they are doing wrong. Another common problem is that without a Mentor, one will lose focus faster than the Philadelphia Eagles will lose another season. This sounds familiar to me as I was born and raised in Philadelphia.

The easiest way to attract the “right” person to your business is to focus on what got you into the same business. From there, you need to start branching out into all kinds of marketing with that mindset: “What do I do, what do I like, what excites me, what am I looking for from this company, etc.?” Keep these thoughts fresh in your mind. it will allow you to explore your Inner Being and learn the Psychology of attracting the same type of individual.
Personal development is another important part of attracting the right person to your home-based business. If you’re not spending at least some time developing yourself, how can you expect anyone to want to work for you? Here are some good books to read that will give you the right approach to gaining a strong mindset and personality:

Also a good technique that I have adapted is to keep a journal of the tasks that you are doing which allows you to get successful results. The easiest way to train your new recruit is to allow them to duplicate what you do on a daily basis. Make sure they are setting goals and share your goals with them too. People are drawn to people who set goals and achieve them. Without goals, you have no idea where you are going and will spin your wheels to get nowhere. Why, because there is no end point for madness (there is no goal)!
