Total Body Detox Tips and Tricks You Can Do at Home

When your body is sick in any way, the pH is altered. Your body does its best to keep up with the extra acid produced. When you can’t keep up, disease sets in. Disease is a breakdown of the optimal function of the cells in your body. The disease is caused by bad eating habits, overwork, stuffed with emotions, eating too much cooked food, too much sugar, salt, caffeine, medicines, vaccinations, stress, depression, lack of adequate rest, lack of exercise, environmental air pollution / water / food and the retention of metabolic waste (constipation). The only effective way to “cure” the disease is to eliminate the causes.

Can we stop the disease or reverse the dying symptoms? Yes like? We have to clean up our lives with optimal nutrition, special diets, cleansing programs, specific vitamins and supplements, freshly extracted juices, herbs and other natural therapies that do not harm the body over time. We must change our life habits and our way of thinking. We need to find a balance between the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual aspects of our life.

All cures come from the central core of your body first, then progress outward and from your upper body to your feet and in the reverse order in which the symptoms first occurred.

So how does one detox? It cannot be done overnight. You took time to accumulate those toxins. If you go too fast, your body will enter a healing crisis that we will talk about at the end of this article. Plan for a four month program.

The body must be cleansed in this order: Intestines, liver, kidneys, blood and lymph.

Intestinal detoxification: beginning of the process: Eat more fresh raw fruits and vegetables. The more varied the colors, the better and more balanced the cleaning will be. Some of my favorite fruits and vegetables to keep your body in top shape include: apples, carrots, watermelon, berries, raspberries, cherries, papaya, parsley, ginger, broccoli, and zucchini. These provide fiber and fluid to keep the intestines moving, improve oxygen utilization, help burn waste products in the system, and stabilize the pH of the blood making the body more alkaline. When the body is alkaline, it has energy to fight disease so it can detoxify and rebuild. Cut down on cheese, meat, poultry, and refined foods. Remove packaged items. Eat more eggs.

For chronic constipation issues, my favorite product is Nature’s Sunshine LBS II. It is not addictive and you can change your bowel habits permanently within just a few months of adding it to your supplement program. Some people prefer to add coffee enemas or colon hydrotherapy. This is good, but don’t overdo the coffee enemas. Three per week should be the maximum number of coffee enemas in the detox program. And if your problem is loose bowels, irritable bowel syndrome, or Crohn’s disease, you may want to add Nosode Drops for Intestinal Pathogens for parasites and RET Drops for the Large Intestine for emotions associated with imbalance of the bowels.

RET Emotional Remedies: These wonderful homeopathic/flower essence combinations were developed by Professional Health Formulations to help with the emotional aspects of physical symptoms within the body. Seventy percent of all disease processes have some emotional component. So if you’re doing all the right things and taking all the right medications, supplements, and diet for something and it’s still not working, these drops may be your ticket.

Note: Cooked, processed, or pasteurized fruits and vegetables do not contain enzymes. Heat kills many vitamins and cooked fruits will make the body more acidic. Consuming three servings EACH of raw fruits, raw vegetables, and cooked vegetables (that’s nine servings total) is the bare minimum for optimal health, but you’ll want to have five servings of each per day for a total of 15 servings per day on a detox program.

Juice is an easy way to get those servings. Adding some raw beetroot juice and bitter greens will stimulate the gallbladder to get things moving.

You may also want to add some liquid acidophilus if you have intestinal issues, have sugar cravings, know you have yeast issues, or have had a history of taking antibiotics. Liquid vitamins and ionic mineral supplements are also helpful in both the detox and maintenance phases.

Liver Detox: Once bowel movements occur smoothly, it’s time to start detoxifying the liver. Increase green foods and include green drinks, beets, milk thistle, and add homeopathic detox drops as appropriate. My favorites are: Sick Building Detox Drops, Mercury & Amalgam, Degenerative Tissues, and Food Additive Detox Drops to flush aspartame, caffeine, chocolate, food colors, MSG, sulfites, and nitrites from your system. IV chelation is Cadillac’s go-to treatment for getting rid of heavy metals from your system, but I’ve found that carob powder works pretty well too. It is cheap and available. The dose is ¾ teaspoon ounce daily for 30 days. If you’re battling allergies, anger, varicose veins, hemorrhoids, glaucoma, or cancer, you’ll want to add a few drops of Liver RET.

Kidney Detox: Once you’ve completed the liver cleanse, the kidneys come next, so add Cranberry Unsweetened Concentrate to your diet rich in fruits and vegetables. One teaspoon/day for six weeks. My favorite brands are Hains® and Tree of Life®. This product comes in 8- to 16-ounce bottles. It’s not the frozen juice or concentrate you buy at the juice isle. Look for it in nutritional supplements at your local health food store. Eat a lot of ginger, parsley and watermelon. Kidney RET Emotional Remedy is added at this point if the person experiences nervousness, fear, anxiety, dread, or worry about their personality traits. I also add Myrrh Gum Powder at this time to help with the leavening and purification. Take up to four capsules daily for approximately nine weeks, depending on the severity of the yeast you may have in your system.

Blood and lymph detoxification: This is the final step in the process and should occur approximately in the fourth month of your detoxification process. Now add some poke root tincture at the rate of 12 drops/day to get the lymph moving. Signs of circulatory and lymphatic stasis include fluid retention, fibrocystic breasts, elevated prostate-specific antigen, and lymphatic cancers. The Irish moss will help balance cell salts and keep eating that parsley. Add ¾ teaspoon of blackstrap molasses daily to add minerals and iron. Also add five tablets a day of American Health Papaya Enzymes to help break down the remaining tar from fermented proteins built up in your intestines over the years.

You should feel pretty good by now, but adding spiritual RET drops helps integrate physical healing with mental and spiritual healing.

So how do you know when you’re detoxing too fast? Symptoms of a healing crisis may include: Fever, swelling of extremities/face, headaches, movement of mucus, weakness, weight loss, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting and other digestive disorders, pain that comes back, worsening of Existing symptoms, rapid pulse, skin rash. , and some say they feel like their world is “collapsing.”

What is the difference between a healing crisis and a disease? You know when you are having a healing crisis because: The crisis usually lasts only one to three days.
