A friend of mine was traveling in Belize during the rainy season. The downpours were so heavy that the streets of the towns were flooded making it almost impossible to get anywhere on foot. It can rain anywhere from 60 inches per year in the north to 160 inches per year in the south. That’s a lot of water.
Therefore, it is best to avoid taking a Belize vacation between early May and November.
